I still remember times when people consider only basic criteria like the look or the phone’s size while buying them.
Well, that’s not the case today!
With every company providing a premium look and better camera, people now are more interested in looking ‘What’s inside?’
If smartphone performance is important to you, the key item you need to pay attention to while purchasing a smartphone is a good processor.
The processor speed is what indicates how powerful a smartphone is and how fast/smooth a mobile will run.
Qualcomm Snapdragon has become a synonym for a processor with almost every high-end Android phone like Samsung, OnePlus, Motorola, Xiaomi, Asus, etc using it.
Smartphones and mobile devices built with Snapdragon mobile platforms enable immersive augmented reality and virtual reality experiences. Recently, Qualcomm has announced Snapdragon 865 Plus for 5G Mobile Platform which we can say will be the highest processor of Snapdragon to date.
The new Snapdragon 865 Plus brings forth a higher clock speed at 3.1GHz frequency delivering increased performance across the board for superior gameplay.
Also, the thing that power consumption in Snapdragon 865+ will be significantly more than that of Snapdragon 865, and that’s perhaps why manufacturers don’t seem particularly keen on adopting it. Anyway, eventually, many companies will find their way to blend in this powerful processor within their devices… as Asus had done!
Snapdragon 865plus
With a full arsenal of Snapdragon Elite Gaming premium features, Snapdragon 865 Plus delivers features like updateable GPU drivers and desktop forward rendering which enables you to have desktop-quality gaming.
This processor also comes with Ultra-smooth 5G gameplay at lightning speeds of up to 144 fps, and True 10-bit HDR gaming which provides cinematic detail in over a billion shades of color.
ASUS is excited once again as they are going to launch the first-ever Snapdragon 865 Plus phone with the next generation ROG Phone 3. And reports say that the phone already has become a leading AnTuTu scorer, with 629,245 points!
Compared to the previous generations, 865 plus has three additional ARM Cortex-A77 performance cores, which can reach up to 2.42 GHz, and four power-saving ARM Cortex-A55 cores that clock up to a maximum of 1.8 GHz.
The difference between 865 Plus and other processors is that it has the faster clocked Prime Core and over 10% higher clocked GPU.
