World’s largest Smartphone Camera: Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra

Xiaomi Mi phones are already famous for being the most affordable devices in the market. Well, today in this blog, we will not talk about the affordability of the Mi product but its quality. Xiaomi has recently launched its big-budget phone that is Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra. Not only it is a big-budget phone, but it has an even bigger camera. We can say the Mi 11 Ultra is Xiaomi’s greatest and latest creation having a camera phone bump the size of the moon. Being noted as the world’s largest Camera smartphone, but does the size of the camera speak for its performance? Let’s find out!

Okay, so the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra has the world’s largest camera in more than one way. It is not like it has many cameras attached to the back like today’s standard, it has 2 cameras at the back triple LED flash, and a whole touch screen. The primary sensor of this phone is the world’s largest sensor in smartphones, also the secondary sensor which is the ultra-wide sensor gives you the world’s widest image compared to any other smartphone. And the zoom… guess what! Is also the biggest zoom in any smartphone so far. The sensor used in the Xiaomi phones is   Samsung LSI’s new GN2 sensor which measures in at a massive 1/1.12” optical format, featuring native 50MP of 1.4µm pixels, capable of binning down to 12.5MP 2.8µm pixels. Also Weirdly enough, the Mi 11 Ultra sports a small 1.1” OLED display alongside the camera setup, possibly to have a full-fledged selfie experience from the rear camera. Now the question is with all these A1 specs does this phone deliver the same? The answer is still mostly yes! Because the camera glass makes a huge difference to a photo even if you have a similar sensor. These sensors do deliver a certain look and that is highly detailed pictures with shallow depth of filled all the time. In terms of performance, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra is one of the most efficient devices on the market, characterized by higher base device power consumption and a 120Hz mode. Things get weird when we look at the size and weight of the phone, the body gains 0.32mm to a still rather thin 8.38mm. However, the weight grows quite substantially from 196g to 234g. All three of these cameras can shoot night mode photos and three of them can also record 8K video… which is pretty great! But the 8K video is locked up to 24 PS. You can also switch from a 4K camera pretty smoothly and you will be impressed to see the color consistency of all three cameras. Something else we what to share is that with heavy camera use the battery gets plummeted and also sometimes you can experience a bit of shutter lag. Let’s talk about a small display at the back of the phone. Though it looks fascinating, it is not that super sharp, like you can easily see pixels on it. But it can show you a couple of things like time, battery level, and a notification light. There is also a customizer available where you can put an emoji or a text quote permanently on the back of your phone. But the main thing is there to click amazing selfies from those massive sensors. You can zoom in and out everything, that will be a much amazing selfie from a 20-megapixel camera.

Actually, along with a pre-eminent camera, the M11 ultra has pretty much every high-end spec you can think of. Great haptics, iP68, reverse wireless charging, great speaker quality… just name high spec in your head this phone has got it! But at the end of the day it all comes down to you, would you rock a phone with a super bump like this or not? Being a device of the “Ultra” designation, the new Mi 11 Ultra comes at a quite higher price which is AED 2936 in Dubai. It’s very clear that the Mi 11 Ultra is extremely camera-centric and if you love such phones this is the best one for you.
