Xiaomi has expanded its laptop lineup with the introduction of the Mi Notebook Pro X in China, soon it will be available worldwide.
The Mi Notebook Pro X 15 was launched in June as Xiaomi’s latest laptop. It features an OLED display, unibody aluminum design, and 11th-generation Intel Core processors. The laptop runs Windows 10 Home and has a 15.6-inch 3.5K (3,456×2,160 pixels) Samsung E4 OLED display. It offers 261ppi pixel density, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and covers 100% sRGB and DCI-P3 color gamuts. The display also supports DC dimming and reaches a peak brightness of 600 nits.
Under the hood, the Mi Notebook Pro X 15 is powered by an Intel Core i7 processor, with Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti graphics as standard. It can be configured with up to 32GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 1TB of PCIe storage. The device includes a full-size, backlit keyboard with 1.3mm key travel. An ambient light sensor adjusts the keyboard’s lighting automatically based on the environment. Users can also manually adjust the backlight to three levels.
For connectivity, the Mi Notebook Pro X 15 offers Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, USB Type-C, Thunderbolt 4, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an HDMI 2.1 port. A fingerprint sensor is embedded in the power key for quick boot and unlock. The laptop has four speakers with DTS audio, a 2×2 microphone array, and a 720p webcam for video calls.
The Mi Notebook Pro X 15 is equipped with an 80Wh battery, providing up to 11.5 hours of video playback. Xiaomi claims the battery charges 50% in just 25 minutes.
