Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro Leaks: What’s new with display and charging?

Xiaomi will carry the Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro, which is believed to arrive in some exciting upgrades in the Xiaomi Pad 7 series. Here’s all the buzzed details around it in a detailed manner:

Display and Performance
Both tablets will feature an 11.16-inch LCD with a 144Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth visuals, although earlier rumors suggested that the Pro model might get an OLED panel—this was later debunked. On the performance side, the Pad 7 will reportedly sport Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3, and the Pad 7 Pro Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 for a serious performance advantage in most demanding applications and multitasking.
Battery and Charging
Battery life is expected to be strong, with both tablets rumored to pack a 10,000mAh battery.
Charging capabilities differ slightly—45W fast charging for the standard Pad 7 and 67W fast charging for the Pro variant, promising minimal downtime.

Connectivity and Features
Both tablets should have WiFi 7, which will ensure faster network connectivity. Both tablets must offer a USB Type-C 3.2 port, as it will provide fast data transfer. Although the presence of 5G variants has not been confirmed yet, both tablets must ensure Hyperons 2.0—an extension of the Android 15 layer of software, according to Xiaomi. There is also potential in areas of security since it is to be seen if the devices sport side-mounted fingerprint sensors.

Launch and Price Expectations
While an exact release date has been confirmed, even though the Pad 7 series may be launched along with the Xiaomi 15 smartphone lineup this later month, its pricing is also still speculated, and it is expected to be set competitively to replace the Pad 6 series that had been launched at between €300 and €400.

This new series promises to bridge high performance with affordability, aiming at both casual and professional users.
